The Tri-Valley music scene is genuinely robust, and in the summertime it’s easy to find live music almost any night of the week. Pleasanton hosts Concerts in the Park on Friday nights at Lions Wayside Park. Dublin has its own version, the Summer Concert Series, on Thursday nights at Emerald Glen Park, paired with the Dublin Farmers' Market. San Ramon offers the Jazz Series at The Lot, featuring internationally acclaimed jazz musicians.
My personal favorite, though, is catching a band at the intimate Almost Famous Wine Bar or out
on the lawn at Wente Vineyards, which also hosts a great jazz event. A lot of local wineries and
restaurants offer live music too, so there’s almost always something happening if you know
where to look.
